Playboy Preliminary Cartoons

When Roy passed away in 2009 he left in his studio many hundreds of wonderful works.

We are offering you the chance to own one of his original Playboy Cartoon, preliminary illustrations. These are the rough ideas that he created in abundance to be considered for publication. They are in very good condition, mostly signed and mostly captioned. Some were chosen by the Playboy for publication and others not. We will highlight which ones were chosen for publication. Before the days of email they were sent by post to the US or to Germany. Roy would create both the idea behind the cartoons and the stunning illustrations. His humor, intelligence and wit were as well as his fabulous artistry were admired by the Playboy staff so we are excited to offer them to both his fans and collectors!
